Archive of Conflicts

 

The project „Archive of Conflicts“ is a collection of posters intended to bring attention to ongoing conflicts that are often forgotten in the public mind after the media has moved on to the next disaster. The Russian invasion of Ukraine, which began as we started the project, was a driving force for its creation. We were wondering as to why this particular conflict receives so much attention in comparison to others. With our effort, we decided to bring attention to other conflicts that are often overlooked by the public. These posters are for comparing and discovering information about the various conflicts. They have been print on translucent paper. The beholder can choose which conflicts to compare by themself. The poster contains statistics from Google Trends that illustrate the level of public interest of the conflicts. Also included is information on the conflicts and the countries in which they occur.
